2. What cookies and tracking tools are
Cookies are small files that a website may store on the user's device.
Other technologies that make it possible to recognise or distinguish a device or a browsing session may be subject to the same rules.
Technical tools necessary for the operation of the website require no consent. Tools used for statistical or other non-necessary purposes are instead activated only after a choice by the user.

4. Statistical measurement
Subject to consent, Orsini uses a first-party statistical measurement system to understand how the website is used and to improve its content and operation.
The system may record, for example:
- pages visited and time spent;

- referring domain;
- approximate geographical area;
- interactions with contact links, such as telephone, email, WhatsApp and map.
The system uses no cookies, no localStorage and no other browser storage.
The IP address is not retained. It is used solely, together with certain technical browser information, to generate a temporary identifier by means of a cryptographic function. That identifier changes daily and therefore loses any link with visits on subsequent days within 24 hours.
Statistical measurement is activated only after the user's consent. If consent is refused or withdrawn, no new measurement events are recorded.
Data are stored on database infrastructure located in the European Union.
5. Google Maps
A Google Maps map, provided by Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC, is available on the Contact page.
The map is not loaded automatically. Before any action by the user, no requests are made to Google and no cookies or other tools of the service are loaded.
Only by expressly choosing «Load the map» is the connection with Google established. From that moment Google may receive information such as the IP address, technical device and browser data, language, referring page and data relating to the use of the map, and may use its own cookies or other technologies.
If the user is signed in to their Google account, such information may be associated with that account.

6. Managing your preferences
On first access to the website the user may:
- accept the tools subject to consent;
- refuse them;
- customise their choice.
Necessary tools are always active, whereas statistical measurement is disabled by default.

Withdrawing consent prevents further processing for statistical purposes and does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
7. Technical services and transfers outside the EEA
Technical hosting and infrastructure services, including Vercel and Supabase, are used for the operation of the website.
The database used by the website is configured in the European Union. Some providers are, however, United States companies or may allow technical access from the United States.
Google Maps may also involve the transfer of data to the United States when the user chooses to load the map.
Any transfers outside the European Economic Area take place in compliance with arts. 44 et seq. GDPR, on the basis of the applicable safeguards, including, where relevant, the adequacy decision concerning the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the Standard Contractual Clauses.
